Transfer AgriGold case to Andhra HC: AP govt

Hyderabad: The state of Andhra Pradesh, on Friday, approached the Telangana high court urging it to transfer the case filed by AgriGold depositors to the Andhra Pradesh high court on the grounds that the maximum number of victims of this fraud are in Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh home secretary filed an affidavit to this effect in which he narrated the efforts of the AP government to reach out to the small depositors.“We are compensating the agents of the company who have committed suicide and we are paying the small depositors from the state exchequer,” he said.
