Indore: Counselling at colleges today

INDORE: College-level counselling for remaining seats of Common Entrance Test (CET) type one group B2 courses will begin Tuesday.
Counselling of CET type one has been over, CLC round for remaining seats of type one will begin from August 13. “The number of admissions this year is better than last year. Seats of almost all courses have been filled and we will conduct CLC round for group B2 from Tuesday as nearly 300 seats of group B2 are still vacant.Decision on conducting entrance test for PhD and MPhil will be taken in a couple of days,” head of admission cell of DAVV Dr VB Gupta said while talking to TOI.
Vacant seats of other courses will also be kept open for all candidates, he added. In CET type one, seats of courses such as MA mass communication (MAMC), some masters of engineering (ME), bachelor of journalism, MCom, MBA rural development, public administration, disaster management and hospital administration are vacant, in CET type three some of the vocational courses have seats that are still vacant. Meanwhile, as DAVV has not yet put up merit list and list of candidates that have got admission, state secretary of MP Congress Committee, Tej Prakash Rane has protested against it.
