Covid-19: 41 discharged from 3 Indore hospitals

After successfully defeating Coronavirus, 41 people were discharged from three health facilities on Monday.

INDORE: After successfully defeating coronavirus, 41 people were discharged from three health facilities on Monday.
Index Medical College witnessed a maximum of 28 discharged cases followed by seven from SAIMS and six from MRTB.
Dr Sanjay Awasiya said, “Three persons were among the high-risk age group and with comorbidities like hypertension and diabetes. These patients were administered high doses of antibiotics, steroids, multivitamins.
They were also provided oxygen because of low content in blood and they managed to recover.”
Among the discharged lot, three patients were above the age of 50, including a 70-year-old male of Krishnabag area.
Dr Sudhir Morya, HoD of respiratory medicine Index Medical College said, “All those 28 discharged were mild symptomatic patients and were administered medicine based on their symptoms. But, our major focus was on non-pharmacological interventions like diet, exercises, yoga, and motivation to them.”
The discharged patients thanked the health workers for their hard work.
A 60-year-old Chandan Nagar resident who was discharged from MRTB said, “I pray for the well-being of these health workers as they are the ones who treated us and sent us back home healthy.
