Bad weather hampers flight movement from Indore

INDORE: Flight movement to and from the city was affected on Friday morning following bad weather condition. Scheduled of over half a dozen flights especially those on Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru routes was affected by up to three hour.
Arrival of morning flight of Indigo 6E 656 from Delhi to Indore was delayed by 3 hour and 43 minutes. The flight was scheduled to land here at 06.55am, but landed at 10.38am.
Indigo’s 6E 702 from Bengaluru to Indore was also late by one hour and 53 minutes. Jet Airways’ 9W 803 on the same route was also late by more than an hour. Indigo’s Nagpur-Indore flight 6E 509 was also late by 2 hour.
This in turn also led to delay in departure of some flight to Mumbai, Delhi etc.
Indigo’s 6E 655 from Indore to Mumbai was late by more than three and a half hour. The flight was scheduled to depart at 07.25am, but departed at 11.05am. Air India’s AI 635 from Indore to Delhi was late due to notice to airmen at Delhi airport for Republic Day practice. The flight is likely to be delayed till January 26. Airport officials said that delay was at airports flights were departing from. “There was no delay from Indore. The flights were delayed at their origin airports, and this affected departure of some of the flights also,” they said.
