Hyena spotted in IIT Indore campus
INDORE: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore authorities have alerted the forest officials after a hyena was spotted in its sprawling adjoining the jungle area in Simrol.
A team of forest officials from Choral range visited the campus on Friday and found pugmarks of hyena in the campus, following which the students have been asked to remain alert, forest official said.

Indore forest ranger Rasheed Khan told TOI that the choral range officials have taken stock of the situation. Two cages are kept on standby in case of wild animal's intrusion inside the campus.
Students IIT Indore had a scare early this year when a leopard was spotted in the campus and later captured by forest officials by setting up a cage in January.
