Indore: Covid-19 claims two more lives, toll touches 89

INDORE: Indore reported 78 new positive cases of Covid-19 on Friday taking the tally to 1858. Also, two more deaths were attributed to Covid-19 in Indore taking the toll to 89. Chief Municipal and Health officer released the information in a daily health bulletin in late night. Both deaths were reported from Sri Aurbindo Institute of Medical Sciences.
A 85-year-old female resident of Sangeet Mohalla, Mhow died on May 8, four days after being admitted to SAIMS.
She was having CAD with AKI, hypertension and obesity and was tested positive on April 24
The second death was reported in the hospital, when a 69-year-old male resident of containment area of Mhow died on May 9, three days after being admitted to the hospital with symptoms of Covid-19. He was having diabetes, hypertension and AKI as comorbidity and was tested positive on May 05.
According to bulletin, total of 13940 samples were tested till date. Out of them, 1196 were tested during the day, and 1118 were found negative. 16 persons were discharged from various quarantine facilities in the city on completion of their quarantine period. There are 1884 persons who are under quarantine on suspicion of being infected with Covid-19.
