Indore: With 79 new cases, Covid-19 tally inches closer to 3,200, toll at 119

INDORE: Indore reported 79 new positive cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday taking the tally to 3,182. Also, two more deaths were attributed to Covid-19 in Indore taking the toll to 119.
Chief medical and health officer released the information in a daily health bulletin in night. The deaths were reported from SAIMS and MTH.
A 76-year-old female resident of Pancham Ki Fel died on May 23, 10 days after being admitted to SAIMS.
She was tested positive on May 13.
A 65-year-old female resident of Nanda Nagar died on May 25, five days after being admitted to MTH. She was having hypertension and anaemia as comorbidities. She was tested positive on May 21.
According to the bulletin, total of 31,513 samples were tested till date. Out of them, 836 were tested during the day, and 749 were found negative. 74 persons were discharged from various quarantine facilities in the city on completion of their quarantine period. There are 2,760 persons under quarantine on suspicion of being infected with Covid-19.
