Minor stoned to death
INDORE: A Class 7 student, who was missing for the past three days, was found dead in a factory on Sanwer road on Monday. The factory has been closed for over 15 years.
The incident was reported on Monday morning when security guard of Ishwar Alloy factory on Sanwer road found the body and informed police.
A case was registered against unidentified accused at Banganga police station.

CSP Harish Motwani said that the minor, Yogesh Chouhan, 14, a resident of Govind Nagar, went missing on January 18. His parents had filed a missing complaint at Banganga police station on Saturday.
During investigation, police found that the minor was last seen with his friend Sohan on Friday. While questioning Sohan, he claimed that he had dropped Yogesh near a temple in his locality and didn’t meet him after that.
CSP said that the minor was brought on the factory premises and tied with a tree and stoned to death as there were fatal injuries on his head. The stone used by accused to kill him was also recovered from the bushes near the factory, said police.

The factory security guard claimed that he didn’t see anyone coming in or going out of the factory.
Yogesh’s father said that he left home on Friday evening with his bicycle saying that he was going to his friend’s place and will return in an hour but went missing after that. Yogesh’s mother cooks food for government school while his father is a daily wage labourer, said police.
CSP said Yogesh’s bicycle is yet to be recovered which may provide some leads. The body has been sent for postmortem examination. Police were trying to fetch CCTV recordings of the nearby areas to identify when Yogesh was brought in the factory and killed.
