INDORE: Police arrested two persons on Tuesday for beating their friend to death after he refused to repay a loan of Rs 300 in Rahul Gandhi Nagar in Madhya Pradesh's Indore district.
Lasudia police had found the body of one Vijay alias Gajani Kanade, 29, on a ground adjacent to a country-made liquor shop on Monday following which investigations were launched into the murder.

Vijay’s head was crushed with a stone, which lay near the body.
During investigations, police found that Vijay was a habitual drinker and often slept on the ground near the liquor shop, thus his mother, Seeta Bai, was not worried when he did not return home.
The investigators interrogated around 12 persons and found that Vijay often drank with his friends Dilip, 21, and Sumit Sisodia, 29. On the night of August 4, they were seen together purchasing eggs from a street vendor. Both the accused were missing from their homes.
The police got a tip-off that the accused were attempting to sell their mobile phones and planning to flee towards Gujarat. A team was formed and the accused arrested.
During interrogation, the accused confirmed having killed Vijay. They claimed that they had loaned Rs 300 to Vijay and he had refused to return the money.
The accused had hidden the bloodstained clothes in the backyard of their houses in Rahul Gandhi Nagar, which the police recovered. They were booked for murder.
