Tai’s jibe at Cong: Indore ki chabi will stay with us
Indore: Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Sunday stuck to her previous statement of keeping ‘Key of Indore’ to herself and not going to give it to anybody till she finds the right person.
“I had received this key from Prakash Chandra Sethi ji for development of Indore and I am not going to give it to anyone from Congress. I will pass it on to a deserving person at a suitable time.
The receiver would be from BJP only,” said Mahajan while addressing a function of all booth-level party workers ahead of general elections. Mahajan on February 10 had stated that she is well enough to handle key of Indore. The key will be passed on to a suitable person at the right time. Following her statement, cabinet minister Jitu Patwari had said there is history of grandsons snatching key from elderly people, who do not wish to pass it on to others.
The function organized at Chimanbaag Ground was attended by BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya and BJP state president Rakesh Singh.
While appealing to party workers to ensure victory of BJP in upcoming elections, Rakesh Singh said that Congress government in Madhya Pradesh would fall on its own within the next two-three months after BJP wins Lok Sabha elections.
“It is quite visible that Congress government in state is not stable. We are going to form government in Centre again under PM Modi’s leadership. Within next two to three months, Congress government in state will fall on its own for sure,” said Singh while addressing the function.
