Flights to resume in Arunachal Pradesh from Thursday

ITANAGAR: Domestic flights to Pasighat in East Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh from Guwahati will resume from Thursday, a senior district official said on Wednesday.
Subject to weather condition and clearances, the flight is scheduled to operate three days a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, East Siang deputy commissioner Dr Kinny Singh said.
She said all inter-state returnees would be compulsorily institutionally quarantined at the destination district according to standard operating procedure of the health department.

The East Siang district administration has made arrangements for hand-washing, thermal screening of passengers. Downloading of Aarogya Setu app has been made mandatory, while passengers will have to compulsorily declare travel history at Pasighat airport.
After two months of no flight operations across the country, domestic passenger flights resumed operations on May 25.
