CA results: Jaipur girl clears exam in first attempt, gives credit to strategy

JAIPUR: She was studying eight subjects for 14 hours a day for the past six months before she achieved all India rank 6 in chartered accountant exam. The results were declared on Friday.

The girl, Gunjan Garg, said she was supported by her parents in each and every step. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a retired government employee. Garg said, “The exam was more important for my parents than for me.I did not expect to achieve sixth rank, though I was expecting good result. I followed my time table regularly and never missed a day. I followed the strategy to revise everything before the exam and the result is in front of you.”
She got five months leave from her firm during her article ship and utilized it wisely. Her strategy was clear - she revised the syllabus once before the leave and three times during the leave and once just before the exam.
Gunjan said, “Everyone thinks that CA is difficult but it’s just your approach that makes it difficult. Students have to dedicatedly work on their set aim and have to complete their target syllabus on time to achieve good result. During article ship, work on to gain practical knowledge and when the exams are approaching work for exams.”
This is her first attempt and at the age of 22 years she has a bright future. Gunjan said she wants to work in the corporate sector and that finance is her field of interest.
