JAIPUR: Flights have again started operating at night from Jaipur International Airport from June 1. Flight operations at night had been suspended since March 31 due to construction work at the airport.
No flights were operating between 10pm to 5am due to the construction of a taxi track parallel to the runway. International flights to Thailand and Dubai which were among those stopped, have also been restarted.

J S Balhara, director, Jaipur International Airport, confirming resumption of night operations, said, “Flights were not operating at night due to the construction work being done at the airport. On Saturday, 3-4 flights again started flying at night.”
Currently, there are 67 flights operating from Jaipur to various domestic and international destinations. Till last year, 61 flights were operating from the airport.
With the increasing number of passengers, the airport authorities have been working on various infrastructure development projects, including the soon-to-be completed taxi track to enhance the airport operations. Recently, ten check-in counters and self-checking kiosks were started to de-congest the airport.
