Jaipur: Youth commits suicide by jumping in front of train

JAIPUR: A youth committed suicide by jumping in front of a train in wee hours of Tuesday in Jaipur. The 21-year-old was preparing for a competitive exam and according to the police officials had even called his father before taking own life. The reason for his suicide is still unknown.
The youth was identified as 21-year-old Dilip Kumar Meena and a case registered in the Mahesh Nagar police station.
Mahaveer Prasad, investigating officer told TOI,”according to the initial investigation, the victim called his father and said that he was unhappy.
He told his father to look after himself when Dilip is not around anymore. The phone call alarmed the parents who stay out of Jaipur and Dilip was staying in the city to prepare for a competitive exam.”
The official further added that the victim’s father called another relative in Jaipur to check on Dilip because of the alarming phone conversation. “His relative and few others started looking for him and found him on dead on the railway track near his accommodation. We are still trying to find the reason behind the suicide but as of now nothing has come to light. Matter is still being investigated.”
