Rajasthan ‘unlock’ will be in phases: CM Ashok Gehlot

JAIPUR: Reacting to the unlock guidelines issued by the central government, chief minister Ashok Gehlot said both centre and state have to decide on the lockdown terms considering the ground situation.
While talking to reporters, Gehlot said that every state is different from other and has different Covid-19 situation in its regions and districts. “We have always followed the central government guidelines and formed our guidelines on its basis.It is important that both should take a call on several such matters considering the ground situation,” Gehlot said.
He is of the view that the lockdown should be relaxed in a phased manner with an aim of safety and security for all.
The fresh guidelines issued by the central government say that religious places, shopping malls and other establishments can be opened after June 8. The state will take a call after a meeting with its officers and advisors.
