Chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Monday has reached out to women voters of the Shekawati region by stating that she is proud of being a women and will understand pain and suffering of them.

JAIPUR: Chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Monday has reached out to women voters of the Shekawati region by stating that she is proud of being a women and will understand pain and suffering of them.
Her speech focusing on women at Fatehpur, Laxmangarh and Sikar was well received by the women who were present in huge numbers. She reminded the women that schemes and polices made by her government is taking care of women from elderly to a newborn girl.
“Our Rajshree Yojna gives financial benefit of Rs 50,000 from enrolling in the government school from Class I to XII.
Along with bicycle, scooty, laptop, travel voucher, scholarship along with financial assistance of Rs 55,000 to those whose father is holding labour card," said Raje.
She assured the women that her government has zero tolerance on crime against women. “The law of capital punishment for rape of a minor girl reflects our commitment for the women safety,” said Raje.
She also told them of bringing water from Himalaya to Shekawati region is changing the life of the people in the region. “My government has fulfilled the promise of providing the water from Himalaya to the resident of Fetehpur and Sikar. Our government has spent Rs 900 crore on the same,” said Raje.
