JAIPUR: Five persons including three retired government officers of the health department of the state were arrested by ACB on Thursday in connection with an alleged scam in the recruitment of the contractual employees in the state under the National Mental Health Programme (NMHP).
The arrest was made an year after the
Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) had registered a case citing irregularities in the recruitment process.
The arrested include former director of medical and health
services Dr BR Meena, the then statistical officer Rajendra Sharma, the then assistant accounts officer Buddhi Prakash, owner of
computer services producer
Sunit Dixit and a woman beneficiary Neeraj Jaiswal.
