Youth caught taking board exam for friend in Jaipur

JAIPUR: A person was caught by the flying squad at Dudu in a government school, where he was attempting to take the class-X board exam in place of another student.
The person named Rakesh Ujjainiya, was taking the exam for his friend Raju Yadav, and was caught at around 11am by the school authorities with the help of the admit card. The flying squad was immediately called and they arrested the impersonator.
The district education officer, Ram Chandra Pilaniya said, “The person was a friend of the student and was a few years older than him. He was in the school uniform but when the examiner checked the admit card, he was caught. The board will take action against the student and police will take action against the impersonator caught. Earlier, in similar cases, students were barred for five years from giving the exam. This matter will be decided after investigation in the matter is completed.”
Board exams for class VIII and class X have started from Thursday and around 11,22,651 students are taking the exam. To curb cheating, special squads of experts have been appointed, who will go for a surprise inspection around the area.
