Akhilesh Yadav helps road accident victims on Agra-Lucknow e-way

KANPUR: Former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav helped three persons who were injured in a road accident on Agra-Lucknow Expressway. He directed his security officers to take the injured to the hospital in one of his convoy vehicle and make necessary arrangements for their treatment. The incident was reported near Tala Sarai village in Hasanganj area of Unnao district on Tuesday.

Akhilesh was returning to Lucknow from Agra. Two injured were taken to Lucknow while one was admitted to Community Health Centre (CHC) in Hasanganj.
Sources in the hospital said that the victims had suffered serious injuries. "Their CT scans and MRIs were conducted to rule out any internal injuries. They will be discharged soon," said a source at CHC.
Locals said that the the former CM's good gesture helped in getting timely treatment to the injured who were bleeding profusely.
