Age is just a number for this 66-year-old retired bank official
Jagmohan Sharma. Sharma's love for biking is taking him far and wide.
Sharma, who has ridden a scooter to Rajasthan and Leh, recently made a trip to Lahaul Spiti on a mobike with his son. His love affair with biking started in the year 1977 when he made his first trip to Rajasthan on a scooter. Since then, he has visited several places including
Badrinath, Kedarnath, Leh-Ladakh and Lahaul Spiti on his scooter and mobike.
Interestingly, this year on June 29, Jagmohan and his son Vikas, went a 2000-kms
bike ride. They started from Ghaziabad and rode to Shimla, Lahaul Spiti, Chitkul (the last inhabited village near the Indi-China border). During the ride, they also visited places like Kunjum pass, Rohtang pass, Manali and Chandigarh.
On an average, Jagmohan drives almost 450 to 500 kms a day during his adventure trips. "Considering my age, many a time my relatives and friends tell me to give up my
passion for biking but riding is my passion and I cannot even think of giving it up even in my dreams," he said.
