Kanpur ladies groove to the beats

The festive season may be over but Kanpurites are still keeping themselves entertained with dandiya events. A ladies club organised a dandiya party for its members recently. Organised at a hotel in the city, the members dressed traditionally and made the dandiya party a big hit.

With the DJ belting out dandiya tracks that had everyone dancing, we spotted Kanchan, Monica, Shikha and Tanisha dancing on tracks like 'Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje' and 'Maine Payal Hai Chhankai'.They were soon joined by Prachi and Shikha. While most of the ladies were busy dancing, Tanvi and Shalu were busy clicking pictures.

A dance performance by Akansha, Vandana, Neetu, Rashmi and Sandhya was the highlight of the evening. Divya, Parul and Deepali also impressed everyone with their power-packed performances. Decoration with puppets, flowers and chunaris made the venue even more attractive.
Also present at the do were Pragya, Heya, Poonam, Priyanka, Sakshi and Rinkle.
