Oorali band performs at Thiruvananthapuram Medical college

we have already told you that Martin Oorali and team are setting out on a journey in their Oorali Express to spread the message of harmony that flood made us realise. The journey titled Oorali’s Flood Express is part of the Kochi Muziris Biennale and will tell the tales of the adventurous souls of the land who dared the water to save lives. The ten member team has been riding across six districts of Kerala- Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alapuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Malappuram.The trip that began at Alappad has now reached Thiruvanathapuram. They recently performed at Medical college campus in the capital city.
On the project, Martin had earlier told us that they aim to speak for the unsung heroes of Kerala whom Malayalis had always discriminated calling them as people who smell fish and also their families who waited for their return when they went out to the the rushing water for rescue mission.
