The fifth and sixth weeks of the Royal Premiere Golf League, one of the biggest amateur golf tournaments in the country organised by the Royal Calcutta Golf Club, reached new heights with actress Paoli present on the field.

The tournament, which started in January and will continue till March, is being played during the weekends.Each day, six teams play against each other to move up to the next level of the competition. This tournament is not only the biggest amateur golf tournament in the country, but it is also big in terms of the passion and excitement of the players. When we asked Paoli, who is the brand ambassador of Royal Flamingos, about her connection with golf, she said that it is through her husband, Arjun Deb. “I have been interested in sports but was never into golfing. But after I met Arjun and saw him playing, I got really interested in the sport,” she added.
Meanwhile, we spotted team Royal Flamingos at the club shamiyana enjoying their win against D Company. “This win took us to the top of the leaderboard and we are extremely happy about it,” said Prashant Jalan, the owner of the team.
