Two in hospital after fall from bridge

KOLKATA: Two friends sitting on the railing of Bridge No. 4 at Park Circus and chatting accidentally fell down and critically injured themselves. The incident was reported around 5.15pm on Saturday.
The two have been identified as Sk Shahjade (32) and Sk Sahid (27), residents of Tiljala Road. Police said residents of the area admitted them to Chittaranjan National Medical College.Their condition was stated to be serious.
"We are treating it as an accident case. We are yet to receive any formal complaint from either of the families. We are checking if the sequence of events had been caught on any CCTV camera," said a cop from the Beniapukur police station, tasked with probing the case.
