LUCKNOW: The SUV which hit a scooter near Aurobindo park in Indiranagar on August 14, killing two youths, was being driven by local strongman Faiz Rizvi. This was revealed by another accused, Ishuveer Singh, who was arrested by police near picnic spot in Fareedinagar on Thursday.
Pawan Singh (22) and Tushar Singh (23) were killed while Sandeep Singh, Sachin and Vikas had been arrested in the case.

On August 12, Pawan had lodged an FIR against Sandeep for assaulting him on August 8 in a fight over posting a female friend’s photograph on Facebook.
Faiz, son of a businessman and a strongman, was close to Sandeep but had rivalry with Pawan’s friend Tushar. Faiz offered to broker peace between Pawan and Sandeep, as he knew both.
Ishuveer told police that Faiz called Pawan and Sandeep to a restaurant in Vibhutikhand on August 14. Pawan came with Tushar, but refused to withdraw the FIR, leading to a heated exchange between Faiz and Tushar.
“Pawan and Tushar left with Himanshu. Faiz followed them with Ishuveer in his SUV and hit them near Aurobindo park,” said police.
The SUV belongs to Faiz’s father and has been seized, but Faiz is still on the run, His last location was traced in Delhi.
