LUCKNOW: At least 181 residents of UP who had arrived from Sharjah on May 9 finally reached their homes on Saturday after spending 14 days in quarantine at various centres in Lucknow.
However, a migrant who was diagnosed with Covid-19 is still undergoing treatment at SGPGIMS.
Earlier, health authorities had announced that all migrants would be allowed to go only if found negative, but many of them told TOI that no test was done.

A rapid test was done in UAE before they boarded the Air India Express flight. The migrants included pregnant women, elderly and kids.
Joint director, integrated state disease surveillance program, Dr Vikasendu Agarwal said: "We tested 17 people who were quarantined at a hotel where one migrant tested positive. The hotel staff was also tested. Since their reports were negative, they were allowed to go."
"According to the latest guidelines of ICMR, only symptomatic or high-risk contacts of a Covid-19 patient should be tested. Hence, those at other quarantine centres were allowed to go after completing 14-day isolation," he added.
Seven-month pregnant Anita Singh of Sultanpur, who works as an IT executive in Dubai said: "I was in tears when I saw my father coming to pick me up today."
