LUCKNOW:
Hot and sultry conditions intensified on Saturday with
maximum temperature crossing 40 degrees Celsius in the city. A
dust storm in the night brought momentary relief. The weatherman said temperatures will rise further on Sunday. The maximum temperature on Saturday was 40.8 degrees Celsius, a degree above normal, and minimum temperature was 28.1 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal.
Relative humidity was also high.
A dust
storm lashed the city around 8.30pm, bringing some relief from the sultry weather.
Met officials said thunderstorms might lash western parts of the state on Sunday, but chances in east UP are less.
Gusty winds and dust storm might lash the city, but it will have no simpact on temperatures.
