LUCKNOW: As the nation mourned the martyrdom of jawans, tributes poured in from all corners.
Aman Gulati, an 18-year-old world record holder from Lucknow, is using his talent to do his bit.
Gulati has vowed to stand for 40 hours to paint all 40 Pulwama martyrs at GPO park from Saturday evening. He says it is his attempt to pay homage to the bravehearts.
“The scars of the family members of Pulwama martyrs are too deep to be healed.
It is a huge loss and I have decided to gift portraits of the martyred jawans to their kin as my tribute,” he told TOI.
With his canvas and painting kit spread out, Gulati drew attention of curious people who wished him luck and patted his back. Many clicked selfies with the little artist.
Gulati has already set a world record by making an 870-foot-long rakhi in August 2017.A native of Lakhimpur Kheri, he has passed class XII and plans to study fine arts.
