Harpal Singh Cheema on Saturday urged Punjab minister
Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is sulking after his portfolio was changed by the chief minister, Captain
Amarinder Singh, to join his party.
Talking to media on the sidelines of a meeting in Ludhiana, Cheema requested Sidhu to join AAP and promised him that he would be given due respect.
He added that the AAP meeting reviewed the reasons for loss in Ludhiana and vouched to remove the weaknesses and nominate strong candidates for the Punjab assembly elections.
He added that the AAP had invited feedback from volunteers and party activists for strengthening the party.
AAP leader Tejpal Singh Gill, who had contested from Ludhiana, said a detailed discussion was held on appointing a new Ludhiana urban president.
