Air India's Mumbai-Goa flight delay leaves fliers fuming

MUMBAI: Passengers onboard an Air India flight from Mumbai to Goa got into an altercation with the crew members at Mumbai airport after the flight got delayed.
The flight AI663 was scheduled for a 1.15pm departure. "However due to a technical snag, the flight couldn't take off at the scheduled hour as the engineering team was trying to resolve an issue. Then at 2.30pm, they declared the aircraft grounded," said a source.
Passengers who were seated inside the aircraft began agitating following the delay.The flight has now been rescheduled to 5.15pm, said a source.
A statement from Air India is awaited.
