MUMBAI: Bombay HC directed MSEDCL to pay compensation to a man who lost both his arms while carrying out repair work at one of its sub-stations.
The court observed that since the accident occured after Sadashiv Katke was called in by an MSEDCL employee, the company “could not escape the liability” to pay him appropriate compensation.
