Mumbai: Gym trainer molests minor, arrested

MUMBAI: A 25-year-old gym trainer was arrested by the Tardeo police on Thursday for molesting a 16-year-old girl under the pretext of giving her exercise tips. The incident occurred around 6.30am on August 12 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
Police said the trainer was identified as Rahul. In her complaint, the girl said she visited the racecourse regularly to jog in the morning.On August 12, the accused approached her and offered to teach her a few steps to increase body flexibility, said the police. She ignored him, but he continued to pester her and tried to touch her. She then ran away and filed a complaint. He was charged for molestation, and under the Pocso Act.
