Photography enthusiasts of the city gathered at
Gandhi Maidan recently to participate in the
Patna Portrait Photowalk. Organised to celebrate World Photography Day, the event saw the presence of over 220 youngsters. The
photowalk encouraged the city’s budding photographers, who showcased their talents at the do.
The participants was divided into four groups, each headed by the well-known photographers of the city, including
Saurav Anuraj, Amarjeet, Pankaj and Satvik.
“This is one of the biggest photowalks in
Bihar. I am glad to see that all the participants were really passionate towards photography. The models, Muskan, Pragati, Nivedita, Pooja, Shalini, Namrata, Aditi, Divyani and Vidushi, walked the ramp with grace. After seeing the success of the event, I will make sure we organise similar events frequently so that fresh faces may get a chance to showcase their talent,” Saurav told us.
Sharing similar views, Amarjeet said, “The event turned out to be a big hit. I never thought that over 200 enthusiasts will participate. This shows that there are many budding and talented photographers in the city who needs an opportunity to prove themselves. I hope this event will help them in some way. Moreover, I enjoyed the day a lot. All of them were very talented. The winners will receive gifts worth Rs 10,000, which will include a cash prize, a free trip, food coupons and goodies.”
