PATNA: Police on Friday morning recovered three severed human heads thrown just beside the Patna-Bakhtiyarpur four-lane road near village Nasibulchak under Fatuha police station area of rural Patna.
After a search, police failed to find torso of all these heads from the area giving rise to belief that the murder took place somewhere else after which the heads were severed using a sharp-edged object and was later thrown on the sides of national highway.

Police are also investigating the matter from the angle of a psycho killer as letters A, N and P were found to be inscribed using a sharp-edged object on left side of one of the severed heads.
SP (Rural) Kantesh Kumar Mishra said that while one of the heads was of a female, rest two were of males.
“Forensic experts and dog squad were called at the spot. The experts, after their preliminary investigation, said that the murder had taken place more than a week back,” Mishra said.
“The forensic experts also told police that all the wounds on the heads got created on the persons which means that the heads were severed and the letters were inscribed on one of the faces after the persons were killed,” he said.
SP Mishra said that it was a farmer who was first to spot the heads thrown on the roadside which was just beside his maize field.

“Police believes that the heads were thrown from a moving vehicle within few seconds between Thursday night to Friday morning,” he said, adding, all police station across the state had been informed.
“The human head would be sent for DNA sampling. None of their identities or age could be ascertained. Forensic experts would ascertain the approximate age of the female and the males with the help of their dental growths,” he said.
He said that if the identity of the slain persons are not established soon, their details and photographs would be sent to CID for publication in paper and to police in other states.
