M ungeli chief medical and health official Dr Mahadev Tendway said the 26-year-old migrant - who was hearing and speech impaired - had returned from Maharashtra on May 10.
He began suffering from fever and diarrhoea three days ago and died while being taken to Bilaspur district hospital on Saturday. His body has been sent for autopsy and his Covid-19 report is awaited.
