Chhattisgarh's two Covid-19 patients discharged from AIIMS

Chhattisgarh’s two coranavirus patients on Tuesday recovered and have been discharged from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) reducing Covid-19’s count to six in the state.

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh's two coranavirus patients on Tuesday recovered and have been discharged from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) reducing Covid-19’s count to six in the state.
Talking to TOI, AIIMS’s deputy director (Administration) Neeresh Sharma, said, “Two Covid-19 patients including a 68-year-old amputee man from Raipur and a 33-year-old man from Durg-Bhilai have been discharged after testing negative twice in AIIMS.
These patients were admitted on March 26 and had recovered in nearly five days.”
The 68-year-old Raipur patient had no travel history and the doctors could not trace his source of virus, said state health officials. The doctors test diagnosed flu and pneumonia like symptoms after doing patient’s chest X-ray of the 68-year-old patient, who has now tested negative twice.
The 33-year-old Durg-Bhilai patient had travel history of Thailand and had recovered from the Covid-19 in five days.
The latest Covid-19 case in Chhattisgarh has been tested positive of a United Kingdom return student in Korba district, who has been shifted to AIIMS on Monday night. Hence, till Monday night there were total eight Covid—19 patients in Chhattisgarh, which has been reduced to six till Tuesday.
The six positive cases in the state includes three from Raipur, one-one from Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon and Korba districts.
