The recent rape and murder cases in Aligarh and Bhopal had sent chills down the spine of police and family of of girl who went missing after she left home for playing with her friend.

Prima facie indicates that the girl might be playing in and around the under construction water tank and would have slipped in the water while the bricks kept on the tank wall would have fallen upon her causing her death, police said.
Amid speculations if something unfortunate had happened to the girl before she died, police said that the case would be investigated on all angles based on the reports of autopsy. Her body was sent for autopsy and reports are awaited.
