RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has ordered Raipur collector to conduct thorough investigation in incident of Class 4th girl falling from second floor of the Radiant Way School building during an adventure sport activity on Tuesday, that caused her severe injuries and the girl is battling for life at hospital.
When a group of parents approached chief minister at Jan Chaupal, Baghel deployed collector R Bharatidasan as the presiding officer to investigate the case.

Collector R Bharatidasan told TOI that an FIR was lodged and a notice if being issued for cancellation of affiliation of Radiant Way School.
The incident took place on Tuesday morning and the matter was reported to police late in the evening as the school tried hard to curb the matter, parents alleged. When pressure from media and parents association built up, the video of event went viral, the district education officer came into action and an FIR was lodged against the school management.
11-year-old Kartisha was visibly afraid while she was preparing for the zip-lining adventure game at her school while her mother’s voice can be heard in the video recorded by her, urging her not to feel afraid and leave the rope.
The moment Kartisha left the rope, she was seen falling as the clip that was holding her broke within a second she prepared to reel. Her mother goes crazy and can be heard rushing towards the girl fallen on the ground while the girl wails in pain.

According to a parent Gajendra Tiwari, the school had organized camp fire event on Monday night for the students wherein they haven’t mentioned in the notice about any adventurous event like Zip Lining.
While there were few children left for the adventure sport including Kartisha, the remaining ones were finishing with the task. The parents present on the spot complained that there was no net, mattresses or any protection facility on the spot and they didn’t raise objection because they trusted the school.
“After falling from a height of 25 feet from school building, the girl didn’t receive any medical assistance for about 15 minutes as there was no doctor at the spot. Somehow parents rushed the girl to AIIMS and she was shifted to ICU.
Meanwhile, the school continued denying about any such incident taking place until the video of incident went viral. The school management continued to curb the matter and prevent police action,” Tiwari said.
There was uproar by parents and demanded for cancellation of affiliation of school. The education minister Premsai Singh Tekam asked the district education officer to issue notice to school.
Raipur senior superintendent of police Arif Sheikh said that an FIR was lodged under section of 337 against whole school management including principal Bhavna Dubey, director Sameer Dubey and the adventure event company.
Talking to TOI, DEO GR Chandrakar confirmed that show cause notice has been issued to Radiant Way School to explain why they failed to seek permission for conducting such an event and not informing the department after the incident took place.
The condition of girl on Wednesday was stated to be out of danger after MRI test. She has sustained fracture on leg, injury of spinal cord and hands.
Radiant Way School vice principal Arpita wasn’t available for comments.
However, the school management had told media that parents had earlier signed a form that had a disclaimer stating school will not be responsible for any untoward incident that takes place during the night camp and games played in the tenure.
There were over 400 students participating in the night camp.
