A campaign for women safety launched in Raipur

Civil society organizations of Chattisgarh from 11 Lok Sabha constituencies including Chetna and Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation recently organised a campaign to support women safety. The campaign was launched in response to the increasing cases of molestation of children and women and the missing discourse of the issue in this election campaign.“Sexual abuse of women and children including rape is a national emergency. Thus, it is important that political parties take up the issue as an urgent priority,” said Om Prakash, Director, Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation.
