Bhavnagar-Gandhinagar intercity train to begin soon

Rajkot: An intercity train between Bhavnagar and Gandhinagar has been sanctioned by Railway Board.
Bhavnagar Railway Division stated in an official statement that the train will start soon. According to sources, railway minister Piyush Goyal was scheduled to flag off the train on Sunday but the program was postponed because of his non-availability.
The train will have a second seating and chair cars and it will run daily.There has been a long pending demand for a train to Ahmedabad from Bhavnagar. Currently there is only one daily train from Bhavnagar to Bandra but there is no commuter train. The Bhavnagar-Bandra train is not useful for passengers going to Ahmedabad because it reaches Ahmedabad at mid night. tnn
