JAMSHEDPUR: Constable Vikash Singh, who went
missing from Birsanagar police station in
Jamshedpur and was later traced at a Covid isolation centre in Odisha’s Puri, was brought back to the
Steel City on Thursday night.
Sources said Singh went missing from the police station on March 18, after he was called for questioning in connection with molestation charges levelled against him by a female colleague.
His family members had filed a missing diary in this regard.
Later, he was spotted at an isolation camp in Puri.
Police said a police team led by SSI Akhilesh Prasad left for Puri by road. The team brought back Singh from the isolation camp in Puri to Golmuri police lines in Jamshedpur.
