18 positive cases of Covid-19 reported in Himachal Pradesh

SHIMLA: In Himachal Pradesh, 18 new positive of Covid-19 were reported, including eight from Kangra district, four each from Solan and Hamirpur districts and one each from Kullu and Una districts. In the state, total nine positive patients including two each from Solan and Hamirpur, four from Kangra and one from Una have also recovered. State now has total 331 positive cases of which 206 are active, while 116 cases have recovered, four have migrated out of the state and five have died.
In Kangra district eight persons who were in institutional quarantine at Jawalamukhi and were having travel history of Delhi have been tested positive.They include a 30-year-old male from Dari, Dharamshala, a 51-yr-old male from from Sandu village in Shahpur tehsil , his 17-yr-old son, a 47-yr-old male, his 9-yr-old son from Kulhan village in Nurpur, a 2-yr-old boy from Mijhgran village of Nurpur tehsil, a 27-yr-old male from Bari village of Khundian tehsil and a 6-yr-old girl who had returned from Mumbai with parents on May 24 and was in institutional quarantine has been tested positive.
Those tested positive in Solan district includes one from Nalagarh, two from Chandi and one from Parwanoo. After they were tested positive, district administration has started tracing their travel history.
In Hamirpur district four positive patients tested positive includes a 40-year-old male and a 23-year-old male from Jangal, Nalti who had returned from Gautam Budh Nagar in Uttar Pradesh and were in institutional quarantine at Bakarti; a 52-year-old male from Shashan, Bhareri who was in institutional quarantine after his return from Delhi and a 32-year-old female from Dhamrol who was also in institutional quarantine at Bhareri after her return from Delhi.
A family of six members from Jaon in Nirmand block of Kullu district had returned from Delhi on May 19 and now head of the family a 65-year-old male has been tested positive.
Bilaspur district has total 18 positive cases of which 11 are active while 7 have recovered, Chamba district has total 20 positive cases of which 9 are active while 11 have recovered, Hamirpur district has total 111 positive cases of which 8O are active, 30 have recovered while one positive patient has died, Kangra district has total 87 positive cases of which 54 are active, 32 have recovered while one has died and Mandi district has total 12 positive cases of which 6 are active, 4 have recovered while two have died.
Shimla district has total 9 positive cases of which 7 are active, one has recovered while one has died, Sirmaur district has total 4 positive cases of which 2 are active while 2 have recovered, Solan district has total 30 positive cases of which 18 are active, 8 have recovered while four have migrated out of state , Kullu district has total 2 positive cases of which one has recovered while one is active, and Una district has total 38 positive cases of which 18 are active while 20 have recovered.
A total of 41,933 persons were put under surveillance in the state till Sunday, of them 17,767 have completed their 28 days of surveillance, while 24,166 are under active surveillance. So far 37,168 people have been tested for Covid-19, of which 35957 have been tested negative and 331 have been tested positive while results of 219 sample are awaited
