Himachal Pradesh: Five-hour relaxation from Monday

In view of Covid-19 pandemic, the state government has decided to continue with curfew in Himachal Pradesh but relaxation time will be increased by one hour, from the four hours at present to five hours from Monday onwards.

SHIMLA: In view of Covid-19 pandemic, the state government has decided to continue with curfew in Himachal Pradesh but relaxation time will be increased by one hour, from the four hours at present to five hours from Monday onwards.
A government spokesperson said shops will remain open during curfew relaxation. He said deputy commissioners would take a call on opening of shops in their jurisdiction by ensuring social distancing.
He also said hardware shops would be allowed to open and construction in urban and rural areas will be allowed. However, barber shops, spas and saloons would remain closed, he said. Dhabas, sweetshops and other takeaway restaurants would also be allowed to open subject to certain conditions, he said.
