Himachal Pradesh: Man's finger chopped off in road rage incident

DHARAMSHALA: A man chopped off the finger of another person for overtaking his car at Palampur area of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday.
Police have registered a case against the accused who fled from the spot after this brawl, leaving the other person injured.
Police said that incident took place on Saturday in Banoori area falling under Panchrukhi police station of Kangra district.

Subhash Shahstri, the area in charge told that complaint was registered by the Gulshan Kumar who was travelling with his friends.
One the way they tried to overtake a car number HP 37C 7142. Infuriated over this the driver of that vehicle came down and chopped off the finger of Gulshan Kumar.
"The accused name registered in the complaint is Sanju. He fled from the spot after attacking Gulshan. Police have registered the case and investigations are on to trace the accused," said Shashtri.
