On cam: Sambar strays into Shimla school, rescued
SHIMLA: Days after a leopard cub was rescued from the district court complex at Chakkarin in Shimla, wildlife officials launched another rescue operation on Thursday after an adult sambar was found trapped inside the toilet of government school in Boileauganj.
The presence of the sambar inside the school premises created panic among the students and the staff.
The sambar was spotted at around 9am.

On receiving the information, a 12-member team from the wildlife department reached at the school to rescue the animal.
The team took around three hours to capture the animal after tranquilising it.
Later, the sambar was shifted to the Kufri Nature Park near Shimla
