Depressed executive engineer commits suicide in Silvassa

Surat: A 48-year-old executive engineer in public works department of Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli (DNH) allegedly committed suicide at his residence by hanging self on Wednesday. Deceased S S Bhoya was known for his simple nature and good behaviour in all the government departments and his extreme step has left the administration in a shock.
Bhoya was found hanging in his room by his wife on Wednesday morning. Police suspect that he hanged self between 4 to 5 am. Bhoya left a suicide note in which he expressed love for his wife and daughter.
He mentioned that he was tired but did not disclose the exact reason behind his depression.
“The exact reason behind the suicide is yet to be known,” said K B Mahajan, station house officer (SHO), Silvassa. tnn
