Man held for molestation bid

Thiruvananthapuram: Museum police on Sunday arrested a man who kept annoying a woman through Facebook messenger and promised to provide proof against her husband if she went to meet him alone at a hotel.
The accused identified as Shiril Raj, 29 was nabbed from Palayam bus stand with the help of city shadow police after the woman and her husband filed a complaint to city police commissioner.The accused has a previous case of molesting a plus two student registered at Wayanad Thirunelli police station.

arrested: City shadow police and museum police apprehended notorious interstate robber Bahuleyan, 52, who followed a modus operandi of sneaking into compounds, waiting till 1am to 2am and then stealing valuables. He then stays in the compound till dawn before escaping to Tamil Nadu with the loot where he leads a luxurious life. Bahuleyan has around 200 robbery cases registered in his name in the last 30 years. Special shadow team formed for operation cobra made the arrest. tnn
