THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Mohanlal will inaugurate the ticket sales for India vs Newzealand T-20 at Taj Vivanta on Friday. KCA has decided to sell more number of tickets worth Rs 700 and Rs 1000 via online. Tickets will be available on the Federal bank website from Tuesday 5 pm.
Minister for tourism and devaswom Kadakampally Surendran inaugurated the office of the organising committee here on Monday.
The office has been set up at the sports hub. City police commissioner P Prakash, KCA president B Vinod, secretary Jayesh George, vicepresidents Rejith Rajendran, Franklin John, Vinod S Kumar, secretary, Thiruvananthapuram district cricket association were present on the occasion.
Entry to the stadium will be open from 4 pm on November 7 and the match is scheduled to start at 7 pm. A senior level police team have already visited the stadium and assessed security measures to be put in place. Around 2500 cops will be deployed on duty as part of the cricket match.
Online tickets will be sold on the webportal www.federalbank.co.in. A link is also available on the website of Kerala cricket association. Online tickets shall have to be converted into original tickets from November 5 at the Cotton hill branch of Federal bank or special counter at the gate number 1 of sports hub opposite Kariavattom University campus.
