Trains from Thiruvananthapuram to follow monsoon timetable from Monday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Train services from Thiruvananthapuram division, operating through Konkan railway section, will have early departure from Monday as monsoon timetable will come into effect. This will be effective till October 31.
Train no.12617 Ernakulam Junction –Nizamuddin Mangala Lakshadweep Express, scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction at 1.15pm, will leave at 10.50am (early departure from originating station by 2 hours and 25 minutes) and reach Nizamuddin station at 1.15pm (no change in time of arrival at destination station).

Train no. 10215 Madgaon-Ernakulam Weekly Superfast Express, scheduled to leave Madgaon at 9.30pm, will leave Madgaon at 9pm and reach Ernakulam at 10.55am the next day.
Also, the trains operating via Konkan – for which temporary stoppages were provided – will arrive and depart as per monsoon timings during the said period.
Train no. 19423 Tirunelveli-Gandhidham Humsafar Express will halt at at Kayamkulam (arrival 12.18pm;departure 12.20 pm) and Thrissur (4.02pm/4.05pm).
Train no. 19424 Gandhidham-Tirunelveli Humsafar Express has stoppage at Thrissur (2.23am/2.25am) and Kayamkulam (5.27am/5.28am) while train no. 19577 Tirunelveli-Jamnagar Biweekly Express will stop at Valliyur (8.19am/8.20am) and Parassala (9.44am/9.45am).
Train no. 19578 Jamnagar-Tirunelveli Biweekly Express has stoppage at Parassala (7.10 pm/7.11 pm) and Valliyur (9.20 pm/9.21pm); Train no. 12431 Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express at Kasargod (4.23am/4.25am); Train no. 12432 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Express at Kasargod (9.33pm/9.35pm); Train no. 16335 Gandhidham-Nagercoil Weekly Express at Kanhangad (5.28pm/5.30pm); Train no. 16336 Nagercoil-Gandhidham Weekly Express at Kanhangad (3.18am/3.20am).
“During this period, trains coming from Konkan side would be delayed,” said a statement from Thiruvananthapuram division.
