Andhra Pradesh govt to fill over 20,000 vacancies

The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to fill 20,100 vacancies in various departments, with chief minister Chandrababu Naidu having directed the officials to begin the exercise to fill these vacancies.

AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to fill 20,100 vacancies in various departments, with chief minister Chandrababu Naidu having directed the officials to begin the exercise to fill these vacancies.
The chief minister directed the AP Public Service Commission and the respective district selection committees to issue notification at the earliest and fill the vacancies.
The existing vacancies include 150 Group I posts, 250 Group II posts, 1670 Group III posts and 1604 vacancies in other departments.
There are also 310 polytechnic lecturer posts, 200 junior lecturer posts, 10 APREI society posts, five APREI society degree college lecturer posts and 200 degree college posts.
The DSC will fill 9,275 vacancies, including those in ZP and MPP schools, 5000 municipal schools, 1100 residential schools teacher posts, 750 social welfare residential schools posts, 500 scheduled area ashram schools posts, 350 BC welfare residential schools posts and 175 APREI society teacher posts.
Likewise, the chief minister gave clearance to fill 21 vacancies in information and public relations department including four DPRO posts, 12 APRO posts and five DETE posts. The chief minister directed the officials to complete the appointment process as soon as possible.
